If you haven’t gathered from the website name, we’re the Jahnkes. Our history is complex and complicated, but we love our story; the good, the bad, and the ugly bits for how they shaped us and prepared our hearts and minds for our future together. We may share bits and pieces from time to time, but for the most part it is our story and as with all stories, there are multiple sides: mine, his, and their’s. For the most part, Maggie will be doing most of the writing because she started this for a creative outlet and to share a little piece of our life with the world. We are generally private people and selectively choose who we allow in to our world. That being said we realize there are people who may need to see that there are others, like them, out in the world.
Andrew by training is always prepared for worst-case-scenarios, a trainer, and mentor. By profession he is the master at finding solutions to complex situations in the IT world. When he is not working he loves getting his hands in the dirt and gardening fresh vegetables for our family or enjoying hikes with the family.
Maggie by education is a communicator, writer, and story teller. By profession, she is a leader, trainer, organizer of chaos, and mentor. She spent most of her career in non-profit program management in the child and family services realm before making the leap to grant-funded initiatives in higher education. When she’s not working, she’s crafting, reading, and spending as much time with our family as she can.
